Blue Hosts has all the bells and whistles of the top competitors in the hosting field, but web hosting is as good as its architects. Certainly the features were as described. Packages and plans were feasible, and speed of DNS turnover was good. The aggregate pricing did not reflect quite the discount my business is used to getting, however....

Great features and many helpful prods to developing web domains. Nice internal interface. I really liked the 50 dollar Google and Adsense credits. That helps. The transfer capability looks challenging. Transferring the entire site might just work painlessly.

Blue Host started great and finished quick. I had a clear set of objectives and every one was at the touch of a button. Nice traffic and affiliate options getting a site launched that didn’t look like a template or a mini site effort. My sites look like fully functioning sites.

Annual plans only one plan available. Prepayment options not month to month? What happens to the domain status if you cancel the hosting? The plan limitations cracked a nerve. The “free” domain is really only applicable with the annual priced plans. No variety of plans means you get one new plan, the plans everyone else gets. Not very customized. And for the sales support to be available 24/7, why of course. Upsell lies behind every corner, webmasters know that.
