The interface looked great,

and the hip approach seemed fun. Our endless array of open source options left me choosing any good option to form my launch plan. Monthly bandwidth of 15,000 Gigs was a big plus for my volume of email and content. The Nutrition facts on the hosting plans was a hip take on the boring table of comparative package hosting options. Joining the herd seemed the only way to win! Moo Crew Support was great.

Ok, but nothing special

Fatcow was one of the buzz words of the hosting industry for some time. But very few elements of their plan offerings were not available elsewhere. Fatcow hosting has the same variants on the memory, data storage, and pricing seen most other websites for hosting companies. I am not sure how the cow image and logo plays up to my expectations of hosting products online. An annual prepayment was not what I wanted to do billing wise and the structure left no option.

I am not sure they have the utterly unique pricing it claims. The $10 offer was not exactly a steal considering some of the advanced open source options were not upgraded. The selling mission was oversold, not one of our web site launches required the bells and whistles of this broad an array of applications, carts, stores, and advertising tools. They are trying to be all things to all people, and this left many of us wondering how much hosting it could really deliver.

Great concept, the average customer may not know enough to compare value with less attractive web hosting offerings.

Cute site, easy to sell to new customers and coach new domain owner clients. I like the webinars and the FAQ library.
