Based on ease of use and variety of applications, I did not find this hosting company supportable as a premium hosting choice. The onlinehosting market has experience many ups and downs but many good choices have separated out. Oversupply of share and virtual hoisting has left a hole for some companies claiming to deliver optimum service, and this is one I would place in that category.

Excellent performer

My website composition worked well on the surface and in the code. My happiness with the hosting account and the customer service was extremely satisfactory. I never ran into a lot of problems so it is hard to gauge how well they might have responded to a serious error or set of problems. One of the hallmarks of a great hosting vendor or online domain host is that you never know how good the customer service or tech help desk people are, because you never had to call them. I never did!

webhosting should be just like this every time but isnt

a palpable sense of relief came over our IT staff with poweb hosting doing our online url servicing they became a secondary secure email and data storage facility for our networks and on other occasions when we want a clean space for a fresh project the portfolio of available applications was evidence of the sophistication of this hosting providers offering and technical achievement

Nice Tour of the Ops control panel. It’s always best to see the control panel and the inside of the operator admin menus before buying the hosting. A sweet community forum to browse before buying.

cpanel well

The interface inside the plan is fresh looking but might distract new webmasters from learnt cpanel skills. Many click through utilities for experienced administrators might pall after a while.

cpanel is great

The best simplified cpanel type administration interface I’ve ever seen. I could recommend this to web friendly clients without getting late night panic phone calls. Ease of use is high.

One Plan One price

One Plan One price is their motto. But $3.88 per month for the PowWeb One plan is exciting. That’s a lot of value. FrontPage and Dreamwaver ready, sql, unlimited and other options for GoDaddy competitive plan? I’m there!

Small

I can see why this hosting company won a lot of awards. It isn’t bogged down with a lot of tools and options other hosting solutions offer. Very good for the beginner concentrating on building a site and basic operation. But once you outgrow this hosting, what then? Not the best choice for advanced webmasters unless you need the value inside the plans that much.

Clean clean site. It’s been so long since I saw a new and originally planned hosting site I almost fell over. A presentation landing page that doesn‘t insult webmaster sensibilities.

Frustrated

I've been with powweb for a few years. They're alright. The only real bonus to them is that they have a Community you can chat with about problems, which is generally a better idea then Tech Support. I can't complain too much about them, but I'm not sure how they got such a high score, I don't think they're as reliable as they're made to look here. Maybe you got em on a good week. Just seems like sometimes they have good weeks where everything is working and some weeks where you get connection issues with their servers. But then, You get what you pay for right? Looking for a new Provider....
